Absent Notification Incentive - Terms and Conditions

Background

  1. KindyNow Pty Ltd (KindyNow) provides a mobile app to enable parents to notify their childcare centre when their child will be absent and not attending their childcare booking.

  2. Childcare centres can offer parents a financial incentive for notifying when their child will be absent using the KindyNow mobile app (Absent Notification Incentive). 

  3. For a parent to be eligible for the Absent Notification Incentive there are several conditions which must be met. 

1. Conditions

To be eligible for the Absent Notification Incentive the following conditions must be met:

(a) a booking was notified as absent using the KindyNow mobile app, and

(b) At the time the absence is notified via KindyNow, the room is, or has been at full capacity for that date, and 

(c) the booking notified as absent was then resold to another parent using the KindyNow mobile app.   

2. Communication 

When the Conditions are met, KindyNow will notify the parent via SMS and the childcare centre via email. 

3. Redeeming the Absent Notification Incentive

Each childcare centre determines the method for redeeming the Absent Notification Incentive and is solely responsible for redeeming the Absent Notification Incentive.

4. KindyNow Warranties and liabilities

(a) KindyNow does not warrant that a childcare centre will redeem the Absent Notification Incentive if the Conditions are met, and

(b) KindyNow is not liable if the Conditions are met and a childcare centre does not redeem the Absent Notification Incentive
